Remembrance

After the overwhelming high of yesterday, today brought a lot of mixed feelings and some sad news. The Lord Mayor of Ballyshannon who opened the show was sadly killed this morning in a car accident. I only knew him in passing and he spoke so well yesterday, but I can hardly comprehend the news. My thoughts are with his family.

We also attended the Remembrance and Thanksgiving service of the Irish Kidney Association today which was also so emotional. So, this post is one of tribute, of reflection and remembrance but also of celebration of those who passed so briefly in our lives and are quickly gone again but leave a lasting legacy and are never forgotten.
