I’ve been a very bad blogger, haven’t I? Let me assure you, I haven’t dropped off the face of the earth (although it sometimes feels like I’m buried under mountains of editing!). I do update my facebook page a little bit more regularly, so please head over for a peek. čÖé

In the meantime, a few bits from the last few months.

Jess <3 Conor

A few photos from Jess and Conor’s big day. Not for the faint of broadband connection! čśë Enjoy. Comment if you want me to send you the full link.

This photo was taken during the rehearsal the night before, was praying I’d get one as good on the day itself!

Til next post, bye!

Sneak Peek! A morning with the girls… and daddy too!

Sorry, daddy! I couldn’t resist. He was truly outnumbered with his very lovely wife and 3 adorable girls.

Phew, what a day! Back to back sessions today and I am asleep on my feet but I couldn’t resist sharing a few from this morning’s session. The session was a “new baby” gift from a very generous auntie and uncle and though I got lost on the way there (my fault for not listening to directions) I knew I was in the right house as soon as I saw daddy because he was the spitting image of his brother! I’m sure they’re tired of hearing that too.

(shameless plug) Gift sessions are super awesome and with Christmas coming around the corner, you know where I am! (end of shameless plug)

So, without further ado…

Sisters rock!

The new addition.

Giggles with the girls

One of my faves from the day. Not only is the baby’s sleepy smile sooooo sweet, but I love how the older girls are holding hands. Sweetness!

Thanks you so much for having me over today and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Another sneak peek tomorrow so visit again soon. čÖé

Sneak Peek… Little Miss Heidi

I had the distinct privilege of spending the morning with the gorgeous Miss Heidi and her equally stunning mum at their beautiful home. I’ve never seen a more alert 2 week old! Here are a few photos to tide them over til I get the rest done! thank you!

Sneak Peek! Miss Aoife

I met the very lovely Ms Aoife this morning with her mum (dad made a quick appearance) at their home and what a little charmer she was! Such a sweetheart, she was very patient with me and even gave us a smile or two. Am i getting broody or what? čÖé

As promised, here are a few photos for mum and dad.

Thank you for having me over, it is always a great privilege to share in welcoming a new baby.

Woods’ Sneak Peek!

A quick sneak peek of the Woods’ Family Portraits I took over the weekend. I love family portraits, especially because my own is so far away. They were celebrating T&M’s 40th wedding anniversary and I was really priveledged to come along to capture them all together. The siblings came from Dublin, Belfast and as far as New Zealand to bring the family together. Thank you for letting me share your special day!

Shiny Happy People

Squee! Forgive the giddiness. I baked ALL afternoon. Total sugar high, which explains why I am up editing after midnight. I baked brown soda bread, a spotted dick, a low fat cheesecake and a full fat sugar laden chocolate cake. None of which I have eaten (only partly true) because I sent them up to the in laws for a dinner party tomorrow. čÖé

Now, I normally take a day or two after a shoot before I start processing photos so that I can look at them with a fresh eye but I couldn’t resist going through a few photos from today’s shoot with the Fahey’s. They were such a lovely family and so easy going. The girls were great and so full of energy! Thank you so much for a fun morning and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Here are a few for your sneak peek.

Look at those baby blues.

As you can see, it runs in the family!

Kisses from daddy.

Thanks again and check in again soon!

Birthday Post!

how can i resist that grin?

Just a quick post to mark my birthday! Yay for me! čÖé I hope everyone has a had a wonderful Christmas break, i’m sure you’ve all had your turkey quota for the year. I’m busy busy busy with all the family, my mom is here for Christmas which is fantastic and also with editing a few different things which I promise will be up in the next few days. There are a couple of sneak peeks coming up so keep checking in. We had a lovely relaxing day yesterday visiting friends and a new baby and of course I couldn’t resist, so i’ve left you with a few!

And a great big heart felt thanks for all the lovely birthday greetings from across the globe! čÖé

Sneak Peek!

I took photos today for the very lovely Eileen and her gorgeous baby girl Dearbhail (pronounced DERVAL, Means “daughter of F├íl”, derived from Gaelic der “daughter” and F├íl, a legendary name for Ireland). This is just a sneak peek of our shoot today.

This is pretty much SOOC apart from the watermark. čÖé It was such a great session, I can’t wait to show you the rest!

Eileen and I had about half an hour to shoot before the heavens opened. ┬áIt was a bright overcast day so it was perfect for shooting outdoors. She was really good in front of the camera and had loads of ideas on how she wanted to look. All in all, super easy to work with. We’re hoping to do another session soon if this weather ever lets up. čÖé As you can see, I’ve become a real fan of this type of post processing. I like the feeling it adds to the photographs, just not sure if it will look dated in a couple of years. But for now, i’m totally loving it!
