Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas and a 2013 full of joy!

Don’t forget, you can keep up to date with my work over here!

Happy 12/12/12!

It’s become a bit of a tradition here to post on repeating dates since I started the blog on 08/08/08! And i’ve tried to make sure I update every year since so hence this update even though it’s been quiet here for far too long! I was hoping to do a monster post or best of 2012 but between getting Christmas orders ready and battling this “dose”, I am about done out. There’s still time before the end of the year but in the meantime, I will leave you with this ad that appeared in the local papers today. Don’t forget, gift vouchers are available for all your special occasions through out the year. čÖé

You can catch up with what I’ve been up to HERE!

I know it’s probably not cool, but I am so super excited and honoured to have my work featured on! My first submission and feature, natch!

If you’re visting from there, thanks for stopping by. You can keep up to date with me here as i’m a very naughty blogger!

Summertime shoots are in full swing and my next shoot involves sprinkles and glitter among other things so check back soon.

Just can’t resist!

Okay, I was preparing Megan and Sean’s photos and I absolutely could not resist posting a few more. čÖé
I LOVE my job čÖé

And I will finish with this!

Be my baby

Where is the time going? I still haven’t managed to get better at updating but I promise, I am trying! čÖé

Here’s a quickie from a lovely afternoon with an awesome couple whose wedding I am capturing in October:

It must be love, love…

So my blogging frequency still hasn’t improved but I am definitely still about! Make sure you check out my Facebook page “Christina J Irwin Photography” to keep up to date with all that’s happening! Here are a few from a recent shoot with the lovely Amy and Vlad, can’t wait for your wedding!

I’ve been a very bad blogger, haven’t I? Let me assure you, I haven’t dropped off the face of the earth (although it sometimes feels like I’m buried under mountains of editing!). I do update my facebook page a little bit more regularly, so please head over for a peek. čÖé

In the meantime, a few bits from the last few months.

Sneak peek of Daveth and Trish’s wedding

Torrential rains suddenly gave way to beautiful blue skies just in time for Daveth and Trish’s special day. The Station House in Kilmessan was the perfect setting for such a warm and intimate ceremony. Sneak peeks are getting harder and harder to do when it comes to picking what makes the cut! Anyway, enjoy!

Lovely sand ceremony where they poured sand from two different locations to symbolise their marriage. So sweet.

Mr and Mrs Foxy! I mean, Fox.

And last but not least, a little bit of colour to shake things up.

Thanks, Daveth and Trish!

Shelley and Clive, a sneak peek!

How’s that for a happy bunch? čÖé

One of the loveliest weddings I’ve had the privilege of being a small part of, it was a gorgeous day with a wonderful couple and here is their sneak peek.

Thank you, Shelley and Clive!

And I’ll end with a bit of Shelley, Percy that is, for Shelley.

“See, the mountains kiss high heaven,
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister flower could be forgiven
If it disdained its brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea;–
What are all these kissings worth,
If thou kiss not me?”

happy new year, world!

I must really apologize for the recent lull in posts. I can’t believe how quickly the months have passed. It was a very very busy end of year for me as well as being away overseas. Unfortunately, holiday mode and work didn’t really mix for me. Huge apologies to anyone who’s orders were delayed, they should all be on their way to you for final confirmation or delivery. I will have a ton of new posts in the next couple of weeks (cross fingers) to showcase my recent projects and really, just to let you all know i’m still alive! čÖé You might also notice that my web address has changed to so pass it on! Happy new year!

A few recent photos from Jessica and Conor’s January 2, 2010 wedding. I’ll do up a proper sneak peek soon.

hands up, i love the love heart shadow.

pretty enough for the tree!
